Dr. Heather Hodson Bobb

Dr Heather Hodson Bobb graduated valedictorian from Tahlequah High School in OK in 1993. She earned her BS in Biology from Lyon College, graduating magna cum laude in 1997. She earned her DDS from the University of Texas Health SA Dental School in 2002, graduating cum laude with honors in clinical dentistry. Following graduation, she associated for two years in SE Ohio, near Washington, PA, where her husband was completing his residency in Family Medicine. Dr Bobb was then offered a partnership in a practice in Tahlequah, OK, and she was also able to serve the Cherokee Indian Nation during her time in Oklahoma. In August of 2008, she opened her dental practice in Dripping Springs, Texas where she served the community until December of 2022, when she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia and joined the Dental TLC team in January 2023!
Dr Bobb is married to her college sweetheart, Brian Bobb, MD, who is the Senior Medical Director for Piedmont Urgent Care. They have two daughters, Kiara, who is a junior at Austin College in Sherman, TX and Karsten, who is a freshman student athlete (runner) at Emory University.
Dr Bobb enjoys volunteering and doing mission work, both locally and globally. She loves to be active in her community. She has served as a Girl Scout leader, elder in her church, served on various boards such as Manos De Cristo Board of Trustees and volunteers with various local volunteer organizations. Her main passion is spending time with her family. She loves to run, hike, golf and watch just about any sporting event.
Dr Bobb is a published researcher and has earned several awards including the Lyon College Patterson Decade Award (outstanding female alumnus), the Robert Clayton Memorial Award, Williams Fellowship Award, Pierre Fauchard Scholarship, Colgate Palmolive Scholarship, and the Girl Scout Gold Award (equivalent to Eagle Scout).
She is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists, National Dental Practice-Based Research Network and the Dawson Academy Alumni Association. Dr Bobb is committed to continual learning and earned her Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Associate Fellowship from the World Clinical Laser Institute and is a preferred provider with Invisalign.
Dr Bobb absolutely loves being a dentist, primarily connecting with patients and helping them feel as comfortable as possible. She is humbled and honored to serve the Sandy Springs community at Dental TLC and vows to carry on the tradition of compassionate, excellent care.
