I’m proud to be a Georgia native! I grew up in Tucker where I went to high school. I received my dental hygiene degree from Georgia Perimeter College. I joined Dental TLC in 1994 shortly after my best friend told me about her new hygiene position with Dr Abbott. Wow, look at us now! We got the party started, as they say.
My hallway at our office is named “Tender Trail.” Come visit me for a healthy, beautiful smile.
When I am not at the office you can find me cooking, playing the piano, or camping in the great outdoors.
I’ve been with Dental TLC since 2009. I’m have awesome children! We love going outdoors and experiencing nature. What I love about Dental TLC is that it is definitely one amazing office! We have nearly everything you need under one roof. Most importantly, WE DON’T JUDGE! Whether you are a returning customer or have taken a long, personal vacation away from the dentist, come visit us and experience the Dental TLC difference!
I am originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. I graduated from Old Dominion University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I moved here with my husband and joined Dental TLC in 2011. I love what I do and enjoy the fun atmosphere and the great people here at TLC.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, gardening, and spending time with my family.
I temporarily worked for Dental TLC when I first moved to Atlanta from Charlotte, NC in 2004, while awaiting my Georgia Licensure. I knew back then that I wanted to be a part of the Dental TLC Team. Fast forward 10 years and I am proud to say I am an official member of the Dental TLC Family! Not to worry, it didn’t take me 10 years to get my license. I just had to wait 10 years for a hygiene position to open up at Dental TLC. I am proud to say that I have been practicing hygiene for 13 years now!
When I am not giving people healthier smiles I enjoy exercising, traveling and volunteering with my church throughout the community.
I hope I have the pleasure of working with you soon!
I joined Dental TLC in January 2017 as a Periodontal Hygienist. Professionally, I have to say I am passionate about Perio! I have accumulated hundreds of hours in my career not only studying Periodontal Disease but also attending classes and lectures about Periodontal Disease and the systemic links associated with it. I am especially interested in the subject of Periodontal Disease and Systemic Health. Did you know that Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Osteoporosis and Cancer are all associated with Gum Disease? The health of your gums can have a direct impact on your overall health which is why Periodontist recommend a Comprehensive Periodontal Evaluation on an annual basis to screen for gum disease. At Dental TLC, this important annual screening is included with our cleanings for every patient. Dental TLC is unique in that it also offers specialized treatment with our Periodontist as well as two staffed Periodontal Hygienist. Now that’s a dental office commited to keeping your gums, as well as your teeth, as healthy as possible!
